Transbaikal Launches ‘The Firsts’ Media Competition for Aspiring Storytellers
A regional media competition, 'The Regional Media Team of the Firsts', has launched in the Transbaikal region. Applicants are invited to submit projects in one of three categories by December 15, 2025.
The competition, organized by the regional branch of the Firsts Movement, seeks entries that include written articles, photographs, videos, or other content. It aims to highlight 'The Firsts in Media: How News Is Made', 'The Role of Media in My Life', and 'Media That Unites Us'.
Winners, totaling thirteen, will receive branded prizes and join the movement’s Unified Regional Media Team.
The deadline for submissions is December 15, 2025. Applications can be made via the Firsts Movement’s website. Despite limited information, this initiative appears to be a unique local effort to engage and recognize regional media talent.
