Transbaikal Territory Welcomes 143 Newborns in Baby Boom Week
In a week of joy and new beginnings, Russia's Transbaikal Territory welcomed 143 newborns. This week's arrivals included a mix of firstborns, second children, and even larger families expanding their broods.
The baby boom saw 47 firstborns and 43 second children joining their families. Notably, one family celebrated the arrival of their seventh child, while another family welcomed twins. The gender distribution favoured boys this week.
Last week, Transbaikalia recorded a total of 193 births. Among these, 31 families had a third child, 16 had a fourth, three had a fifth, and two had a sixth child. This week's 143 births indicate a slight decrease from last week's numbers.
The recent baby boom in Transbaikal Territory has brought happiness and growth to many families. While the number of births has decreased slightly from last week, the region continues to see a steady stream of new arrivals.
