Transmission supplier RENK set to deliver an additional 42 units for the AJAX platform in Latvia

The transmissions will be manufactured at RENK's headquarters in Augsburg, Germany, and are scheduled for delivery in 2026. RENK is supplying another 42 HSWL-256B gear units for the AJAX infantry fighting vehicle to Latvia, underscoring Latvia's great confidence in RENK's product portfolio.
The HSWL-256B transmission is primarily used in the 35 to 45 tonne weight class and impresses with its 800 kW (1100 hp), robustness, and compact design. It is operational in British Armed Forces vehicles and is now being supplied to Latvia for their AJAX vehicles, reinforcing its use within NATO countries and allied militaries.
