Truck Driver Kicks Policeman in the Face - Truck driver assaults officer after violent A8 motorway crash near Langenau
A truck driver allegedly assaulted a police officer after a crash on the A8 motorway near Langenau. The incident happened late on Tuesday evening when the vehicle veered off course and struck a barrier. Authorities are now investigating the cause of the collision and the subsequent confrontation.
The crash took place at around 10:30 PM on November 18, 2025. A 31-year-old Bosnian driver lost control of his truck-trailer combination, swerving left from the right lane. The vehicle crossed the entire carriageway before hitting a concrete barrier, causing the trailer to overturn onto the grass verge.
The driver is now in police custody following the altercation. Investigations into the crash and the assault are ongoing. Authorities have not yet released the man’s identity to the public.
