Trump Reassures Public: U.S. Aims to Help, Not Harm China Amid Trade Tensions

U.S. President Donald Trump has reassured the public about U.S.-China relations, stating that the U.S. does not aim to harm China. This comes amid escalating trade disputes and geopolitical tensions involving Taiwan's security.

Trump took to Truth Social to address concerns, saying, 'Don't worry about China, everything will be fine!' He emphasized that neither he nor Chinese President Xi Jinping wants an economic depression for their respective countries.

Tensions have risen recently due to offers for American Express investments in exchange for China giving up support for Taiwan. Taiwan, considering its strategic importance, expects protection from Washington and is ready to invest significantly in American industry, particularly in high-tech partnerships and semiconductor manufacturing. However, China has threatened military conflict if these demands are not met.

The U.S. is considering additional tariffs and export restrictions on Chinese goods and technologies, further escalating the trade disputes between the two countries. Despite these actions, President Trump maintains that the U.S. wants to help China, not harm it.

President Trump's reassurance comes at a time of heightened tensions between the U.S. and China. Both countries, according to Trump, are interested in stability. While trade disputes continue, the U.S. is open to Taiwanese investments, and China threatens military conflict if its demands are not met. The situation remains complex and under close watch.
