Akim Nuralkhan Kusharov led a meeting of the Architectural Council to review new projects across Turkestan Region. The session covered designs for cities like Arys, Kentau, and Turkestan, focusing on modernising public spaces and infrastructure. Key proposals included a medical centre, a national-style hotel, and a plaza symbolising Turkestan’s heritage.
The council examined plans for a medical centre, a hotel reflecting national traditions, and an alley dedicated to historical judges. They also discussed improving district entrances in Arys and Kentau, with architects Rustam Mukhamedzhanov and Timur Shanyuz presenting modern designs for these gateways. Kusharov stressed the importance of contemporary models and innovative ideas in shaping these projects.
The reviewed projects aim to modernise Turkestan Region’s infrastructure while preserving cultural elements. Plans for new parks, bike paths, and symbolic plazas will now move forward under the council’s guidance. The next steps involve refining designs and implementing the approved proposals.
