Turkish Technic secures landing gear maintenance contract with Garuda Indonesia within the MRO Asia-Pacific region

Garuda Indonesia, the national flag carrier of Indonesia, and Turkish Technic, a leading aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) service provider, have announced the extension of their long-standing relationship. The agreements were concluded during the Aviation Week MRO Asia-Pacific 2025 in Singapore.

The new deals, which include landing speed overspeed services for the coming years, will be carried out for Garuda Indonesia Airlines. The agreements expand the scope of the partnership, with Turkish Technic signing two multi-year agreements for the landing gear overhaul of Airbus A330 and Boeing 777 aircraft.

Fikret Koç, senior vice president of sales at Turkish Technic, expressed his pleasure at strengthening the collaboration with Garuda Indonesia. "We are delighted to continue our successful partnership with Garuda Indonesia," he said. "These new agreements are expected to create greater value for both companies moving forward."

Mukhtaris Aris, director of maintenance at Garuda Indonesia, also expressed his delight at expanding the longstanding partnership with Turkish Technic. "We are committed to upholding the highest level of safety standards, and the landing gear overhaul services offered by Turkish Technic align with our ongoing efforts," he said.

Under the latest agreements, Garuda Indonesia will use Turkish Technic's expertise to enhance the efficiency and reliability of its widebody fleet operations. The collaboration between the two companies aims to increase operational efficiency to maintain customer satisfaction.

Demand for dependable, high-quality MRO services in the Asia-Pacific region is continuing to rise. Turkish Technic views the region as a key growth market and aims to remain a trusted partner to Garuda Indonesia in the years ahead.
