Two Arrested in Schöneberg for Illegal Firearm, Drugs, and Cash
Two men, aged 49 and 47, were arrested in Schöneberg early this morning after their vehicle was stopped for allegedly speeding on Kulmer Straße around 3:30 a.m. The car was found to contain a significant haul of illegal items.
Police from Police Directorate 5 (City) pulled over the vehicle and discovered a firearm, including its magazine and ammunition, hidden in the passenger's jacket pockets. Further searches revealed stun devices also on the passenger, and a flick knife along with a four-figure sum of cash on the driver. Additional drugs were found in the car itself.
The two men were subsequently transferred to the Criminal Investigation Division of Police Directorate 4 (South) for further investigation in case number 0372. All seized items included the firearm, stun devices, flick knife, cash, and drugs.
The arrested men now face potential charges related to the possession of an illegal firearm, drugs, and other prohibited items. The investigation into case number 0372 continues.
