Two elderly women critically injured after crossing against red light in Berlin
Two elderly women were seriously injured in a traffic accident in Charlottenburg on Monday. The incident happened at the intersection of Gaussstraße, Olbersstraße, and Lise-Meitner-Straße. Both pedestrians, aged 77 and 78, suffered head injuries, cuts, and concussions after being struck by a car. The women were crossing Gaussstraße against a red light when the collision occurred. A 51-year-old driver, travelling along Olbersstraße toward Gaussstraße, hit them as they entered the road. The two pedestrians remain under medical care following the crash.
