Two injured after brutal pepper spray assault in Berlin’s Marzahn district
A violent assault in Marzahn left two people injured, including a 37-year-old man attacked with pepper spray and beaten by two unknown suspects. The incident, which took place late at night on November 21, 2025, is now under investigation by the Criminal Specialist Department of Directorate 3. Police later apprehended two suspects, though one resisted arrest during the operation.
The attack unfolded in Wuhletalstraße at around 11:30 p.m. Two male suspects targeted a 37-year-old victim, spraying him with pepper spray before physically assaulting him. The man suffered multiple contusions and required hospital treatment. A second person, who intervened to help, also inhaled the pepper spray and sought medical care.
The investigation into the assault remains ongoing. The victim continues to receive inpatient medical care for his injuries. Authorities have not yet announced further charges or actions against the suspects.
