Man Approaches Girls and Injures Them with Pepper Spray - Two young girls attacked with pepper spray in Penzberg within an hour
A young man from the Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen district has been accused of attacking two elementary-school-aged girls in Penzberg, Upper Bavaria. The incidents, which occurred within an hour of each other, involved the use of pepper spray and have led to an investigation for aggravated assault.
The first attack took place in Penzberg's city centre, where the suspect allegedly sprayed a girl on a scooter with pepper spray. Roughly an hour later, he approached another girl and offered her candy. When she refused a second time, he sprayed her as well.
Both victims were taken to hospital for treatment. They received outpatient care for minor injuries before being discharged. Authorities have not confirmed a motive but have indicated that the suspect may have a mental illness.
The man, described as a young adult, now faces two counts of aggravated assault. Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the attacks.
The two girls have since been released from medical care. Investigations into the suspect's actions remain ongoing, with authorities examining possible mental health factors. No further details about the case have been disclosed at this time.
