UAE to Host Japan Culture Centre as Expo 2025 Legacy

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has announced plans to host the Japan Culture Centre, a landmark destination that will celebrate Japan's rich heritage and contemporary artistry. The centre, a parting gift from the UAE to Japan at the close of Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, is a testament to the enduring friendship and cultural exchange between the two nations.

The Japan Culture Centre will serve as a living platform for cultural and economic exchange, sustaining and reimagining traditions for future generations. It is a part of the Al Ahli Holding Group's (AAHG) Multiverse Project, an ecosystem dedicated to art, design, education, and sustainability.

The centre reflects the UAE's enduring leadership vision, tracing its roots from Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan to President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Maktoum and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. Mohammed Khammas, Group CEO of AAHG, noted that while structures may fade, culture, artistry, and friendship endure across generations.

The Japan Culture Centre, led by Shehab Ahmed Al Fahim, UAE Ambassador to Japan, alongside renowned creative figures and AAHG representatives, is set to become a symbol of unity and shared purpose between the UAE and Japan. Its establishment further cements the bond between the two nations, fostering understanding and creativity for generations to come.
