United Russia reshapes its policy platform through nationwide public forums

United Russia has launched a series of strategic forums across Russia's federal districts to review its People's Program and gather public input for a new policy platform. The latest event took place in Krasnodar on March 3, drawing key political figures and local stakeholders to discuss social and economic priorities.

The Krasnodar forum focused on the outcomes of the People's Program, introduced during the 2021 State Duma elections. This initiative includes nearly 400 provisions linked to Russia's national development goals. Over 2.5 million citizens, including more than 300,000 from Kuban, helped shape the original document.

Participants examined housing, social infrastructure, rural development, and support for military families. Yury Burlachko, head of the regional parliament, stressed the need to refine legislation at both regional and federal levels to boost the real economy and tackle social issues.

Four working groups were established to draft proposals for the new five-year policy platform. Nikolai Gritsenko, a party representative, described the forums as the start of a fresh phase in United Russia's work, prioritising voter engagement and updating the party's programmatic direction.

The forums mark an effort to align United Russia's policies with public feedback and national development targets. The next district event is scheduled for Rostov, where further proposals will be collected. The party aims to finalise its updated platform based on these discussions.
