A draft law expanding free legal aid in Nizhny Novgorod region has been proposed, with the author's identity remaining unknown. The bill, approved by the regional parliament's committee, aims to broaden support for young people in specific circumstances.

The new law will extend free legal assistance to young people aged 18 to 23 who have lost one or both parents while studying. This includes cases related to state support measures and inheritance rights. The bill was unanimously approved by the committee on regional government, local self-governance, and procedural regulations.

State legal bureaus and lawyers will provide consultations, prepare necessary documents, and represent the young people's interests in courts and government bodies. The bill is set to be discussed and potentially adopted at the next parliamentary session on October 30.

The draft law, if adopted, will expand the range of recipients eligible for free legal aid in the Nizhny Novgorod region, providing crucial support to young people in need. The bill's progress will be reviewed at the upcoming parliamentary session.
