Unlicensed drugged driver causes crash after ignoring driving ban
A van driver without a valid licence caused a collision on Berliner Straße while under the influence of drugs. Authorities confirmed the man had already been banned from driving before the incident took place. The crash occurred after the driver, whose identity remains undisclosed, ignored an existing driving ban. During the accident investigation, officers discovered his licence had been confiscated in a prior case. A rapid drug test at the scene returned positive results. A blood sample was then taken for further laboratory analysis. Police also confirmed the driver was formally notified of his ban during the investigation. Criminal proceedings have now been launched against him. The case will proceed based on evidence from the accident and the drug test findings. The driver faces legal consequences for operating a vehicle while disqualified and under the influence. Further action will depend on the results of the blood analysis and ongoing criminal proceedings.
