Unsafe Evreuxring bridge to be demolished on December 1

A pedestrian and cyclist bridge over Evreuxring near Ostpark will be demolished on December 1. The structure has been deemed unsafe due to instability. Authorities have warned the public to stay clear of the site for safety reasons.

Preparation work will start in the morning with the laying of a protective sand bed. The actual demolition will begin in the afternoon, involving the removal of side supports and the breaking down of reinforced concrete. The material will then be separated, sorted, and either disposed of or recycled.

Once the demolition and cleanup are complete, Evreuxring will return to normal operation. The removal of the unstable bridge aims to eliminate safety hazards for pedestrians, cyclists, and drivers. No further disruptions are expected after the road reopens.
