The Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce (NKY Chamber) is set to host an event titled "Eggs 'N Issues - From Concept to Reality: Building the OneNKY Center" on August 19, 2025. This event will take place at the Receptions Banquet and Conference Center in Erlanger.
The focus of the event will be on the upcoming opening of the OneNKY Center, a landmark project that brings together Northern Kentucky’s growth organizations under one roof. This vision has been decades in the making and is a significant step forward for the region’s economic development and collaboration among key organizations.
The event agenda will centre around presenting how the OneNKY Center was conceived and brought to reality, exploring its significance for the region’s economic development, and discussing the building design and collaboration plans.
Christine Russell, Vice President of Strategy at BE NKY Growth Partnership and Executive Director of NKY Port Authority, will moderate the panel discussion. Russell has served in various roles, including Economic Development Director for the City of Springdale, Ohio, and has worked at Hull & Associates and the Port of Greater Cincinnati Development Authority.
The panel will include representatives from local organizations operating from the new OneNKY Center located at the base of the John A. Roebling Suspension Bridge in Covington. Kris Knochelmann, Kenton County Judge Executive, and Christin Godale, Ph.D., LifeSciKY Executive Director, are among the scheduled speakers.
Kris Knochelmann, a lifelong resident of Kenton County, has a history of improving regional organizations supporting private enterprise, entrepreneurship, and job creation. Christin Godale holds a doctorate in neuroscience from the University of Cincinnati and has experience in life sciences leadership.
Karen Finan, OneNKY Alliance President & CEO, is also scheduled to speak. Finan holds a bachelor’s degree from Northern Kentucky University and is currently a Chair of the NKU Foundation.
The event will commence with attendee check-in, breakfast, and networking from 7:30 to 7:55 a.m. This will be followed by a keynote presentation and audience Q&A session until 9 a.m.
Event registration is $30 for NKY Chamber members, $45 for future members, $20 for NKYP rate, and free with NKYP Event Pass. Pre-registration is required online at NKYChamber.com.
