Usogorsk's new youth hub opens as a creative and volunteer centerpiece

A new youth hub has opened in Usogorsk, Udora District, backed by funding from the republic. The facility will host a range of activities, from creative workshops to large-scale events, while also serving as a base for local volunteer groups.

The centre is part of the national Youth and Children project, an initiative led by President Putin to support young talent across Russia.

The hub includes a multifunctional hall, a creative space with a photo studio, and a food court. A separate leisure area has also been set up for informal gatherings. Organisers plan to hold rallies, competitions, photo sessions, and passport presentation ceremonies in the coming months.

Different zones have been assigned to key youth movements. The Movement of the Firsts, Victory Volunteers, and Yunarmiya will each have their own dedicated spaces. Additionally, a Dobro.Center volunteer hub will operate on the premises. The facility will now act as the main office for the Youth Policy Department of Udora District. Its opening aligns with the broader goals of the national project, which aims to provide resources and opportunities for young people in the region.

The Usogorsk hub offers a mix of recreational, creative, and volunteer-driven activities. It joins other facilities under the national Youth and Children project, though no public data yet exists on its usage or performance compared to similar centres elsewhere in Russia. The district's youth programmes will now run from this central location.
