Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan Deepen Ties After Historic State Visit
Uzbekistan's President Shavkat Mirziyoyev has hailed the recent state visit of Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev as a significant step in bolstering bilateral relations. The visit, which took place from 14 to 16 November 2025, resulted in several agreements and signed documents that will strengthen the strategic partnership and alliance between the two countries.
The talks covered a broad range of sectors, including trade, industrial cooperation, transport and logistics, energy, agriculture, water resources, and cultural and humanitarian projects. Notably, the visit saw the opening of the International Centre for Industrial Cooperation and the launch of several joint projects that promise new avenues for collaboration.
Mirziyoyev praised the visit, stating that it has laid a solid foundation for the sustainable development of both nations. He believes the talks will intensify cooperation in various fields, benefiting the people of both countries.
The state visit has concretized the partnership between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan. With several agreements signed and new projects launched, both nations look forward to enhanced cooperation and mutual growth in various sectors.
