Veteran officer Sascha Wegstroth named Wülfrath’s new police chief after 30 years of service
The Mettmann District Police Authority has appointed a new news head for Wülfrath's police station. Sascha Wegstroth, a 30-year veteran of the police force, takes over from Police Chief Commissioner Frank Eigelshofen, who has retired.
Wegstroth brings a wealth of experience to his new role. He has served in various capacities, including undercover work, leading the Mettmann emergency call center, and acting as a shift supervisor in Velbert.
