Viersen Family Alliance Honored as Germany’s Top Family Support Network for 2025
The Viersen Family Alliance has received the title of Outstanding Family Alliance 2025/2026. The award was presented during the Alliance Dialogue of the federal initiative Local Alliances for Families. Michael Brand, Parliamentary State Secretary, handed over the official seal and certificate in recognition of their work.
The Local Alliances for Families initiative has supported communities across Germany since 2004. Around 300 locations now take part in the programme. Viersen’s alliance was founded in 2007, bringing together social welfare groups, government bodies, nonprofits, and private individuals.
The award highlights Viersen’s long-standing efforts in family support. The alliance will continue its work as part of the nationwide network. Their collaboration with local partners remains central to their mission.
