A Vietnamese delegation recently visited the Czech Republic to strengthen cooperation in fighting corruption. Led by Nguyễn Thanh Hải, Deputy Head of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Internal Affairs, the group met with Czech officials to share experiences and discuss legal frameworks.

The delegation began with a meeting at the Czech Ministry of Justice. Franek Michal, Director of the Department for the Development of Anti-Corruption Legislation, presented the country’s anti-corruption model. This included government oversight, legal frameworks managed by the ministry, and independent investigations.

The meetings concluded with a shared commitment to deeper cooperation. Future efforts will focus on tackling corruption and serious economic crimes. Both nations aim to build on existing agreements while exploring new areas of collaboration.
