Vietnamese Politburo Member Praises WPK Founding Museum on 80th Anniversary
Politburo member Nguyễn Duy Ngọc recently visited the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) Founding Museum in Pyongyang during a state visit to the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK). He appreciated the welcome and expressed his congratulations to the WPK on its 80th anniversary.
The WPK Founding Museum, established in 1970, houses artifacts and documents that highlight President Kim Il Sung's role in founding the WPK and leading the DPRK's revolutionary struggle and national development. The museum is located on the site where the WPK and President Kim Il Sung worked during the early years of the WPK's establishment.
During his visit, Nguyễn Duy Ngọc stressed the importance of the museum's materials and historical lessons. He noted that they would serve as a useful reference for the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) in maintaining its leadership and developing a CPV museum for its centenary. An artistic programme marked the 80th anniversary of the WPK on October 9, 2025.
The WPK Founding Museum stands as a testament to the history and achievements of the Workers' Party of Korea. Its significance was recognised by Nguyễn Duy Ngọc during his visit, who acknowledged its potential to inspire and educate future generations about the party's founding principles and leadership.
