Vietnam’s leader honors grassroots security forces in historic Zoom meeting
Party General Secretary Tô Lâm recently held a zoom meeting with 70 outstanding collectives and individuals from grassroots security forces in Hà Nội, praising their accomplishments and outlining future support. The November 11 meeting highlighted the crucial role these forces play in maintaining local security and order.
Tô Lâm emphasised the strategic importance of these grassroots security forces, recognising their assistance to commune-level public security forces. He acknowledged their achievements, particularly those of the 70 collectives and individuals present at the zoom meeting. The General Secretary encouraged the expansion of successful models and best practices nationwide to strengthen national security.
Tô Lâm reaffirmed the Party's, State's, and Ministry of Public Security's continued support for these forces. He called for the Ministry to provide necessary equipment and improve facilities to enhance their effectiveness. Exemplary individuals at the zoom meeting shared their achievements and proposed additional support. Tô Lâm urged them to mobilise local communities to implement the Party's guidelines and the State's policies, preventing crimes and addressing legal violations.
