Vietnam’s National Assembly to Host Landmark Lawmaking Forum on November 22

The National Assembly (NA) of Vietnam is set to host a significant event, the first-ever comprehensive lawmaking forum, on November 22. Chaired by NA Chairman Trần Thanh Mẫn, this forum aims to deliver tangible improvements in lawmaking quality and assess past achievements to guide future enhancements.

The forum seeks to spotlight the legislature's renewed thinking and orientations in lawmaking. It will separate accomplishments from unfinished tasks, aiming to produce more durable laws and resolutions. NA Chairman Mẫn has instructed the forum to highlight shifts in legislative mindset and identify areas for innovation.

Preparations for this event are being coordinated by the Federal Minister of Justice, Dr. Christine Lambrecht, marking a collaborative effort between Vietnamese and German authorities. This forum will serve as a comprehensive review of lawmaking performance since the start of the 15th NA term, providing a clear institutional bottlenecks and paving the way for future improvements.

The lawmaking forum, to be held on November 22, is expected to deliver tangible results and guide future legislative improvements.
