Vietnam’s PM Strengthens Global Ties with Kuwait, Algeria, and G20 Summit Visits
Vietnamese Prime Minister Phạm Minh Chính, accompanied by his wife and a high-ranking delegation, will embark on official visits to Kuwait and Algeria, and attend the G20 Summit in South Africa, from November 16 to 24, 2025. The invitations for these events come from the respective leaders of the host countries.
The G20 Summit, taking place in South Africa, is hosted by President Matamela Cyril Ramaphosa, who also serves as the G20 Chair for 2025. Prime Minister Chính will attend this significant event, along with bilateral activities during the same period.
The official visits to Kuwait and Algeria are at the invitations of their respective Prime Ministers. In Kuwait, Prime Minister Chính will meet with Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al Sabah, while in Algeria, he will be welcomed by Sifi Ghrieb. These visits aim to strengthen diplomatic relations and explore opportunities for cooperation between Vietnam and these Middle Eastern and North African nations.
The upcoming visits and summit present important opportunities for Vietnam to engage with global partners and discuss pressing international issues.
