Violent Neukölln Altercation Injures Teen, Suspects in Custody
A violent altercation in Neukölln left a 19-year-old man injured and suspects in custody. The incident, involving six men and a woman, unfolded around 7:40 p.m. and resulted in the seizure of weapons.
The argument between the six men and the two victims, an 18-year-old woman and a 19-year-old man, escalated into a physical confrontation in a building on Dieselstraße. The younger man sustained minor head injuries, while the woman remained unharmed.
The dispute reached its peak when a 27-year-old suspect allegedly fired a blank-firing gun multiple times at the 19-year-old and pointed it at the woman. Both suspects, aged 23 and 27, were later taken into custody after returning to the scene.
Police searches at the suspects' residences uncovered a blank-firing gun and additional knives, which were also seized. The 27-year-old suspect was found carrying a flick knife and pepper spray, which were confiscated.
Following the incident, both suspects were released after processing, and the investigation remains ongoing. The only suspect arrested in connection with the Neukölln incident is a 22-year-old Syrian man who planned a jihadist attack with self-made explosives, but no other suspects have been reported as involved or at large in this specific case.
