Viral TikTok spreads false Jeffrey Epstein missing girl conspiracy
A viral TikTok post has spread false claims about a missing girl supposedly linked to Jeffrey Epstein. The video, which includes fabricated images, has been viewed over 400,000 times. Police in Baden-Württemberg have confirmed the details were entirely made up.
The TikTok post featured a photo of a 15-year-old girl, along with a fake missing person alert. It claimed she had survived an incident on 'Epstein Island' on November 14, 2025. However, no such place as 'Epstein Island' exists—Epstein did own Little Saint James, a private island in the U.S. Virgin Islands.
The original police appeal, published last year, involved a real missing person case in Mannheim. The girl was later found, and the public notice was removed from the police website. There is no connection between her disappearance and Epstein, who died in 2019.
The creators of the TikTok posts remain unknown. Despite the false claims, the misleading content continues to circulate online.
The fabricated story has misled thousands of viewers. Police records confirm the girl was safely located, and the case had no ties to Epstein. The false claims persist despite official denials and factual corrections.
