Vogtland’s 25-Year Charity Drive Kicks Off with €15,000 Boost for Families
A long-running charity drive in the Vogtland region has launched its 25th annual campaign this Christmas. The 'Neighbors Helping Neighbors – Vogtlanders Supporting Vogtlanders' initiative aims to assist socially disadvantaged families, particularly children facing hardship through no fault of their own.
The campaign received a boost this year with a €15,000 donation from Sparkasse Vogtland. CEO Marko Mühlbauer and board member Martina Birner presented the check to the initiative’s patrons, District Administrator Thomas Hennig and Plauen’s Lord Mayor Steffen Zenner.
The €15,000 contribution from Sparkasse Vogtland will add to the funds raised for local families. The campaign continues to rely on community support to reach those in need across the Vogtland region. Donations remain open for anyone wishing to contribute.
