Water bottle hurled from bridge shatters car windshield in Berlin attack

A 53-year-old driver and a 37-year-old passenger had a narrow escape this morning when an unknown assailant threw a water bottle from a bridge in Marzahn, shattering the car's windshield. The incident occurred at around 8:20 a.m. on the bridge on Allee der Kosmonauten. Witnesses reported that the suspects were likely children or teenagers, but their identities remain unknown. The driver and passenger were fortunately uninjured despite the severe damage to the windshield. The suspects fled the scene in the direction of Springpfuhl S-Bahn station. There is no publicly available information about who threw the bottle, which was hurled from a balcony at the same time and location. The incident serves as a reminder of the potential dangers of such reckless behaviour. Police are appealing for any witnesses or information that could help identify the suspects.
