Weinzierlein's Fire Brigade Celebrates New Equipment House, Honours Commander, Establishes Junior Brigade

Weinzierlein's voluntary fire brigade celebrated the inauguration of its new equipment house. Commander Manfred Suck received a prestigious award, while the junior fire brigade was officially established. The event drew a large crowd, including local dignitaries and friendly fire brigades.

The new equipment house, a result of extensive planning and construction phases led by Second Commander Stefan Becker, was blessed by Pastor Thomas Rucker. The help and rescue fire fighting vehicle (HLF) was also inaugurated alongside the new building.

The event marked a significant milestone for the fire brigade. Commander Manfred Suck was honoured with the Golden State of Bavaria Medal for his 40 years of dedicated service. Meanwhile, the junior fire brigade, established on December 1, 2023, received its founding certificate from Mayor Thomas Zwingel, who highlighted the importance of youth work in the fire service. District Administrator Bernd Obst echoed this sentiment, stressing the role of junior and youth fire brigades in the future.

The inauguration of the new equipment house and the HLF vehicle, along with the recognition of Commander Suck and the establishment of the junior fire brigade, reflect Weinzierlein's commitment to maintaining a strong and capable fire service. The event was a testament to the community's support and the fire brigade's dedication to serving and protecting its residents.
