Werne’s Youth Fire Brigade Receives €1,500 for New Polo Shirts
The Werne City Fire Brigade Association has received a generous donation of €1,500 from Volksbank Kamen-Werne. The funds will be used to purchase new polo shirts for the youth fire brigade. The donation was accepted by Tobias Tenk, the chair of the City Fire Brigade Association and head of the fire department, along with other officials and members.
The chairman of the Stadtfeuerwehrverband Werne e. V., Tobias Tenk, was present to receive the donation. Volksbank Kamen-Werne's branch manager, Philipp Gärtner, visited the Werne Youth Fire Brigade on September 16, 2025, to hand over the cheque. Gärtner highlighted the importance of the donation for equipping the youth fire brigade and expressed his gratitude for their dedication.
The €1,500 donation from Volksbank Kamen-Werne will significantly contribute to outfitting the Werne Youth Fire Brigade with new polo shirts. The youth brigade's commitment to fire safety and community service is greatly appreciated by the association and the local community.
