Westgate Parking Garage Near Berlin Airport Set to Open in Spring 2026
The Westgate parking garage, a significant addition to the Feelds business park near Berlin Brandenburg Airport, is nearing completion. Scheduled to finish in early 2026, this facility promises to enhance mobility and sustainability in the area.
The groundbreaking ceremony for the Westgate parking garage took place recently, marking the start of this ambitious project. Upon completion in the first quarter of 2026, it will offer 668 parking spaces, including dedicated spots for electric vehicles (EVs).
The garage will feature an amphibian protection system and a sustainable drainage system, demonstrating a commitment to harmonizing with its surroundings. It will also boast over 14 charging points for EVs, designed to meet the growing demand for electromobility and expandable to accommodate future needs.
Notable companies involved in the Westgate mobility facility project include Siemens Mobility and Deutsche Bahn, who will also manage operations. The construction is characterized by a high degree of energy efficiency, ensuring long-term resource-saving operation.
The Westgate parking garage is fully on schedule for completion in spring 2026. Once operational, it will connect a central location with sustainable construction and modern equipment. A shuttle service is planned to connect the parking garage with the airport terminal and the nearby Northgate, further enhancing accessibility.
