Widd Signs lands £200K in contracts amid post-pandemic growth surge

Widd Signs has secured over £200,000 in new contracts, marking its strongest month since the pandemic began. The company, which specialises in signage and wayfinding solutions, landed five major projects in September 2022 alone. This growth has also led to new job openings across several roles. The firm was chosen by Logicor to produce and install wayfinding and tenant signage at multiple locations. Two of these projects, at Lionel House in Birmingham and Atlantic Quay in Glasgow, each carried a five-figure price tag.

Another high-profile appointment came from Chelsea Football Club. Widd Signs will handle the manufacture and installation of wayfinding signage and abstract art at the West Stand of Stamford Bridge. Additionally, ISG contracted the company to design and fit external branding for a new Marks & Spencer store in Woking. These wins contributed to the firm’s busiest period since early 2020. To support its expansion, Widd Signs is now recruiting signage installers, fabricators, and apprentices. Interested candidates can find details on available positions at widdsigns.co.uk/careers. The company also welcomed Neil Frodsham in September 2022. He joined as business development manager, further strengthening the team during this period of growth.

With multiple high-value contracts secured, Widd Signs has seen a significant boost in activity. The new projects and ongoing recruitment reflect the company’s continued expansion in the signage and wayfinding sector. Further updates on its progress are expected in the coming months.
