Wiesbaden Celebrates International Day of the Girl with Empowering Event
Wiesbaden is gearing up for an action-packed event on October 2nd, the International Day of the Girl. The Wiesbaden Girls' Working Group (MAK) is behind this day-long celebration, themed 'Self-determination, Equal Opportunities, and Non-violence'.
The day will kick off with a march from Dern'schen Grounds at 3 PM, winding its way to the Kulturpalast in Saalgasse 36. From 5 PM onwards, the Kulturpalast will host workshops tailored for girls and young women. These include dance classes, Wendo self-defense sessions, glitter tattoos, a photo booth, and alcohol-free cocktails. The action day will culminate in a party for the girls at 7 PM.
The International Day of the Girl in Wiesbaden promises to be a vibrant and empowering event, with a focus on self-determination and equal opportunities. The MAK has planned a day filled with activities that celebrate and support girls and young women in the city.
