Wiesbaden hit by weekend break-ins at school and apartment
Two break-ins occurred in Wiesbaden over the weekend, leaving police searching for those responsible. A school in Erbenheim and an apartment in Rambach were both targeted between Saturday and Monday. Authorities are now asking the public for any information that could help their investigation.
The first incident took place at a school in the Erbenheim district. Unknown intruders broke in sometime between 5:00 PM on Saturday, March 28, and 6:00 AM on Monday, March 30. Three doors were damaged, and a computer monitor was stolen. The cost of repairing the doors is expected to run into several thousand euros.
Meanwhile, a separate break-in happened at an apartment in Rambach. The front door was forced open between 4:00 PM on Saturday, March 28, and 9:00 AM on Monday, March 30. Unlike the school, no items were reported missing from the apartment. Police have launched an investigation into both incidents. So far, no arrests have been made, and no further details about the number of burglaries in the area over the past year are available.
Wiesbaden Police are urging anyone with information about the break-ins to come forward. The incidents have left both the school and apartment owners dealing with the aftermath. Investigations remain ongoing as officers work to identify those responsible.
