Wiesbaden's 'You are PROFESSIONAL' Action Week: 77 Students Gain Work Experience
Wiesbaden's annual 'You are PROFESSIONAL' action week, held from September 25 to October 1, has concluded successfully. The event, organized by the city's Social Affairs department, offered students a chance to explore various professions firsthand.
Over 100 young people applied, with 77 securing spots to work in 21 companies and institutions. The week-long project covered a wide range of fields, including technical, craftsmanship, commercial, social, and cultural professions. Participants gained practical experience and insights into the world of work.
Dr. Patricia Becher, head of the Social Affairs department, praised the project as a 'success story'. It not only helps young people discover potential career paths but also boosts their confidence. The initiative also benefits companies, providing them with an opportunity to meet motivated young talent.
More details and a video about the project can be found on the city's official website.
The action week ended with a closing event at the Wartburg, led by three students. The project continues to be a valuable platform for young people to explore career options and for companies to connect with potential future employees.
