Willich Asks Young Residents to Shape Their Future in New Survey

The Willich Youth Welfare Office has launched an online survey to hear from young residents. Aimed at children and young adults aged six to 27, the questionnaire covers a wide range of topics about daily life in the city. Responses will help shape future support services for families and young people.

The survey asks participants about their satisfaction with where they live, their friendships, and any feelings of loneliness. It also explores how they spend free time, how they get around, and their use of digital media. Young people can suggest changes they'd like to see in their community.

Schools across Willich have received the survey link and QR code to share with parents and students. The Youth Welfare Office hopes for broad participation before the deadline on April 15. The results will directly inform the city's child and youth support strategy, as well as improvements to open youth services. No details have been released on how many schools have passed on the survey so far.

The feedback collected will guide decisions on local services for young residents. The survey remains open until mid-April, giving families and young people time to share their views. The city plans to use the findings to make targeted improvements in youth support.
