The annual parade and value card distribution in Willich is set for November, with Chairwoman Claudia Kivelip and Treasurer Willi Keuren to be elected next year. The event, organized by IG Metall, will see elementary school children and seniors receive bags containing value cards.

The parade kicks off at 6 PM on November 5 in Alt-Willich and on November 11 in Wekeln. Children will receive their bags at school after the parade, while seniors aged 75 and above will have theirs delivered at home. Value cards can be obtained by presenting valid ID documents at the DJK-VFL Willich clubhouse on November 5. The Willicher Heide and Willich-Hardt areas are not part of the parade route.

The election of the board is scheduled for next year, with IG Metall backing Claudia Kivelip as 1st Chairperson and Willi Keuren as Treasurer. Six deputies - Maria Klasen, Frank Schäfer, Fabian Schneider, Mike Doth, Tanja Keuren, and Jens Kivelip - have been confirmed to support the board. Collectors are currently active in their districts, seeking donations for the event.
