Windsor man arrested after explosive materials found in home

A 28-year-old Windsor man has been arrested after authorities uncovered evidence linked to explosive materials. Michael Foug now faces a felony charge following a multi-agency operation that began with a search warrant earlier this month.

On March 10, local and federal officers served a search warrant at a property on the 400 block of 14th Street in Windsor. The operation included the Weld County Regional SWAT Team, the Greeley/Weld Regional Bomb Squad, the ATF, and the FBI.

Evidence collected during the search led investigators to arrest Foug two days later. He was taken into custody without incident on March 12. The charge against him—possession of parts used to assemble an explosive or incendiary device—falls under Colorado Revised Statutes 18-12-109, a Class 5 felony. The investigation remains ongoing. Authorities have not released further details at this time.

Foug is currently in custody on a single felony count. The case stems from a coordinated effort between state and federal agencies. No other suspects or locations have been named in connection with the investigation.
