Woman arrested after shooting leaves man critically injured in DeKalb County

A woman, 32-year-old Jamaya Sallette, was arrested in DeKalb County on Friday night following a shooting incident that left a man in critical condition at a nearby hospital. The shooting occurred around 8:10 p.m. on the 600 block of Treehills Parkway. Sallette and the victim knew each other prior to the incident. The injured man was rushed to the nearest hospital with serious injuries and is currently in a critical state. Neither the victim's identity nor the specific hospital has been disclosed to the public. Sallette was arrested and charged with aggravated assault.
