Woman arrested at airport over alleged Dubai escort recruitment scheme
A woman has been detained at an airport while travelling with another to Dubai. Authorities allege she ran an escort operation, recruiting four Belarusian women through online ads. The case centres on claims of exploitation and organized logistics.
The investigation began after a young woman replied to an Instagram advert promising fast earnings. She was later persuaded to work as an escort in Dubai. The organiser, who had previously stopped her own escort work, took charge of the operation.
Phone records, chat logs, and photos linked her to the recruitment process. She managed client bookings, schedules, and travel plans for the women involved. In return, she kept 50% of each payment, passing the rest to her employer.
At first, she admitted her role in the scheme. Later, she changed her statement, insisting she had only accompanied the women rather than recruiting them.
The woman now faces legal proceedings after her arrest at the airport. Evidence from digital records and financial transactions supports the claims against her. Authorities continue to examine the wider network behind the operation.
