Woman critically injured after Berlin police car collision in Moabit
A 49-year-old woman was struck by a police vehicle in Berlin’s Moabit district on December 9, 2025. The incident occurred around 6:50 PM while the officer was responding to an emergency call with lights and siren activated. The woman suffered a fractured leg and was rushed to the nearest hospital for treatment. The collision happened on Invalidenstraße as the woman crossed from the left. The officer, whose name has not been released, was driving an emergency response vehicle toward Moabit at the time. Emergency responders quickly took the injured pedestrian to a nearby hospital. The woman remains under medical care following the collision. Authorities continue to examine the circumstances of the crash. Road closures and tram delays lasted for over two hours before traffic returned to normal.
