Worms Joins *Orange Days* to Fight Violence Against Women
Worms will take part in the global Orange Days initiative to combat violence against women. The campaign begins on November 25, aligning with the UN’s Orange the World drive. Buildings, flags, and public events will mark the city’s involvement in raising awareness.
From November 21 to 25, the Worms Job Center and Worms Hospital will glow orange in solidarity. City Hall and Petersstraße will also display flags from UN Women and the Violence Against Women Helpline starting November 24.
The events in Worms will shine a light on violence against women through symbolic displays and public engagement. The film screening and discussions provide a platform for dialogue and encouragement. Organisers hope the initiative will foster greater awareness and solidarity in the community.
