The Wuppertal Zoo Association (Zoo-Verein Wuppertal e.V.) marked a significant milestone, celebrating its 70th anniversary with a grand event. Nearly 400 members and guests, including prominent figures from various sectors, gathered to commemorate the occasion and look towards the future of committed advocacy for animals and nature.

The anniversary celebration, held in the glass atrium of Stadtsparkasse Wuppertal, reflected on the association's decades-long commitment to advancing nature and species conservation locally and internationally. The evening was moderated by an unnamed individual, with musical accompaniment provided by Thomas Voigt and the saxophone ensemble 'Sax for Fun'.
