Yakutia honors veterans and combats fascism at landmark military forum
Yakutia, led by Head Aisen Nikolayev, recently hosted a significant forum in Yakutsk from November 4 to 6. The event, attended by 25 Yakut servicemen who participated in the special military operation, focused on countering fascism and neonazism, patriotic education, and honoring veterans.
The forum, held at the Yuri Gagarin Cultural Center, included roundtable discussions, meetings, seminars, exhibitions, and a plenary session. Nikolayev addressed the audience, stressing the importance of learning from the older generation's experience in defeating fascism. He also presented combat awards to the 25 Yakut servicemen who attended the event.
In addition to the forum, Yakutia has been actively supporting the special military operation. This year alone, the republic has sent 129 tons of humanitarian aid, equipment, vehicles, and drones to the affected areas. Nikolayev emphasized that Yakutia has been supporting the operation since its inception, mobilizing all its resources. The forum also discussed methods to counter fascism and neonazism, indicating Yakutia's commitment to these issues.
