Yakutia’s Culture Minister and Union Leader Plot Future in Virtual Talks

A recent working zoom meeting brought together Afanasy Noev, Minister of Culture and Spiritual Development of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), and Anastasia Samsonova, leader of the region’s cultural workers’ union. The discussions focused on labour relations, social dialogue, and future cooperation between the ministry and the union.

During the zoom meeting, Noev congratulated Samsonova on Union Workers’ Day in Yakutia. He presented her with a commemorative gift and a letter of greeting for the union committee. Both sides then reviewed the progress of the 2025–2028 sectoral agreement on labour relations.

The zoom meeting concluded with clear next steps for joint projects and policy proposals. The ministry and the union will continue working together to support cultural workers in Yakutia. Further discussions on the Council of Cultural Veterans are expected in the coming months.
