Yakutia's Time of Heroes: New Apartment Building Opens in Khandyga
Yakutia's head, Aisen Nikolayev, oversees a regional initiative that mirrors the federal Time of Heroes project. The programme aims to improve living conditions and cultivate talent for family administration. A newly built apartment building in Khandyga is set to accommodate 54 families currently residing in substandard or unsafe housing.
The four-story residential building at 8/1 Molodezhnaya Street in Khandyga was constructed by Atlant LLC under a state contract awarded by the Housing Construction Directorate. The building is designed to provide better living conditions for families in Tomponsky District. Gavril Naumov, a trainee in Yakutia’s Land of Heroes leadership program, recently inspected the building.
During the acceptance procedures, a commission identified minor violations by the contractor. An official order will be issued to rectify these deficiencies within the specified timeframe. The building was constructed under the regional resettlement program for residents of dilapidated and emergency housing.
The completion of this building marks a significant step in improving housing conditions for 54 families in the Tomponsky District. The Yakutia – Land of Heroes leadership program continues to cultivate talent for family and municipal administration, with trainees like Gavril Naumov playing a role in overseeing such projects.
