A memorial ceremony took place in Yekaterinburg, bringing together 200 people from the Urals region. The event honored those who perished in the 1930s-1950s and was held at the Memorial Complex for Victims of Political Repression.

The Association of Victims of Political Repression organized the event, aiming to preserve historical memory. They published books, compiled lists of the deceased, and hosted research projects and educational forums. The ceremony's motto, 'Know, remember, condemn—and only then forgive', echoed the organization's mission.

The memorial complex stands on the Moscow Highway, marking the site of mass graves containing remains of people from Sverdlovsk, Perm, and Tomsk regions, executed in 1937-1938 during the Great Terror. A guided tour through the exhibition 'The Great Terror in the Urals' by the Yekaterinburg History Museum was organized for attendees.

The regional Department of Information Policy shared the details of the event with Oblastnaya Gazeta. Meanwhile, humanitarian and volunteer organizations, collaborating with local authorities, delivered new vehicles to the front lines for the veterans of the SVO and CTO.
