Yevgeny Petrenko unanimously elected to lead Yeniseisk District
Yeniseisk District in Krasnoyarsk Krai has elected Yevgeny Petrenko as its new head. The district council deputies unanimously backed Petrenko for the position.
Petrenko, born in Lesosibirsk, brings a wealth of experience to the role. He graduated from Lesosibirsk Pedagogical Institute with a degree in primary education and later earned a master’s in media management from Siberian Federal University. Additionally, Petrenko holds a degree in public and municipal administration from Togliatti State University.
Petrenko's political career began in 2016 when he was elected as a deputy in the Legislative Assembly. In the current term, he served as deputy chair of the Committee on Sports, Youth Policy, Tourism, and Public Environment Development. He was also a member of the Committee on State Structure, Legislation, and Local Self-Government. In 2019, Petrenko was elected chairman of the Yeniseisk Regional Assembly.
With his extensive educational background and political experience, Yevgeny Petrenko is well-positioned to lead Yeniseisk District. His election signals a vote of confidence from the district council deputies in his abilities and vision for the region.
